Hi Pastor Ed,
Just wanted to thank you for the past senior discipleship retreat that you took the time to drive up for even in your sickness. I was encouraged by your effort to relate to everyone on a personal basis, calling those of us you didn’t know to eat dinner with you and Kelly. Even though you had mentioned that many people thought Chariots of Fire is boring I am glad you showed it to us because it was a reminder for me the difference in using our abilities to give glory to God versus giving glory to ourselves. And deliberate choices we sometimes have to make to stand up for our faith.
